Beautiful Cottage Surrounded by Nature
We spent a wonderful 2 months at Casa Dos Sonhos. It is situated in a totally peaceful location, yet just a ten minute walk to the very friendly local bar and within 30 minutes drive of some beautiful towns (Marvao, Castelo de Vide) and of course, Spain. The surrounding countryside is breathtaking and we enjoyed numerous walks from the doorstep. We cannot fault the accommodation, which we found to be very cosy and traditional with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Our 7-year-old daughter loved having access to the land and the animals are a wonderful addition to the overall experience - thank you Sarah for letting her tag along at feeding time! Sarah, Vladimir and their girls are super lovely hosts who were always on hand to help if we needed it, whilst also giving us plenty of space and peace to enjoy the cottage. Thanks for a wonderful stay - we will certainly be back!

Caché au bout d'une piste forestière, on rencontre Sarah et sa famille. "ici tout est juste pour vous". Calme, nature, jolie maison, piscine et surtout un accueil anglais exceptionnel, avec des petits déjeuners faramineux.
Difficile de le quitter.

Fantastic, relaxing getaway
We had a fantastic week in Portugal with Sarah, Vlad and their family. The accommodation is lovely: very comfortable, clean and child friendly, well equipped with a good kitchen, family dining area and a tv/dvd; the pool is a bonus and we had a great time exploring the sites in the local area.
Sarah provided a delicious breakfast every morning and made us feel very welcome.
If you are looking a quiet escape, I would highly recommend it. Our children are aged 3 and 5 and they didn't want to leave.
Great weather, fresh food, lots of books to read and beautiful countryside all came together to make an unforgettable family holiday.

Gorgeous surroundings, sweet house, great hosts!
We absolutely loved our time at Sarah's cottage! The cottage is in a remote natural area, surrounded by a fragrant Eucalyptus forest. The tiny local taverna serves excellent food but Sarah also offered us meals for a very reasonable price which was both convenient and delicious - my kids are still raving about her cottage pie! Sarah was attentive to our every need without ever invading our privacy. She even mailed my son's sandals that we forgot, all the way to us here in the U.S.A. The cabin is cute and very comfy, including the beds which are wonderful. All is located in a truly beautiful area of Portugal and there is even a pool. If you are looking for a lovely rural holiday, most highly recommended
